NetTalk duo is a revolutionary phone service that has given magicJack run for money. NetTalk duo broke away the restriction of having a computer to make free calls to USA and Canada. NetTalk duo went on and started offering its users to make unlimited international phone calls to 60 countries for just $10 per month giving Vonage run for money.
NetTalk duo is back with a bang offering number porting for free. You can now move to netTalk duo without leaving your current phone number. The porting process will take around 3 days to a month based on your current home phone service carrier.
Steps to port your number to NetTalk
- First check if your number can be ported by visiting this link.
- Login to your NetTalk account and and fill out a NPA (Number porting authorization) to authorize NetTalk to port your number. You will find this form under “Port number to NetTalk” when you click on phone numbers.
- Wait for a few days for number porting to complete. It usually takes 1-3 days but can take up to 30 days.
- Do not cancel your current home phone service as a disconnected phone can not be ported.
Note: Although it might take about a month for your number to port to NetTalk, you will be able to use NetTalk services from first day onward. This offer is for limited time and is available to all NetTalk customers. There is no NetTalk Duo coupon code required or any other such offer code required.

NetTalk Duo in Canada Too
NetTalk duo is one of the most sought after products for unlimited calling to USA and Canada. We have covered NetTalk duo’s free calls to USA and Canada offering in a blog post earlier. We also posted about two NetTalk duo Coupons, 1) 50% off coupon for NetTalk duo and another 25% off coupon for NetTalk duo. These posts are not recent but they still get a lot of eyeballs because NetTalk Duo is a revolutionary product after MagicJack. The only complain that we had was from our readers from Canada that they were not able to purchase one in Canada. NetTalk has addressed this issue and Zeller now carries NetTalk duos.
NetTalk Duo sold in Zeller stores across Canada
NetTalk was always available from online vendors such as Amazon and others but there was no bricks n’ mortar store that carried NetTalk Duo in Canada. Since NetTalk Duo offers free calls to both USA and Canada numbers it is an intelligent step by netTalk inc. to have Zeller carry NetTalk Duos across the Canada.
Zellers is Canada’s second-largest chain of mass merchandise discount stores, with 273 locations covering all 10 Canadian provinces. If you are an intelligent person who does not want to pay money for such calls, you can download free smartphone application for NetTalk and make calls straight from your cell phone. The only problem is you can not receive calls as you do not have a personalized number.
FreeCallsHub Hub for cheap international calls

You need to be aware about nettalk that it limits 3000 minutes/month. Even incoming is also considered under 3000
Dear Reader,
That is a good point and we can not tell you how much we abhor it. Sadly, VoIP companies have assumed that a limitation is taken for granted and that has become the norm now. Vonage also has similar limitations and now NetTalk has also started international calling service with such restriction. We hope they let users make unlimited calls someday. Kudos to you for starting this conversation. Let us see what other readers think about this.

Hi! I could not run my mouth anywhere close to 3000 min per month, could you???? If and I mean if and I don't know for sure that there is a limit like that it's more then fine with me. It would save my jaw bone from coming apart at the joints!
Dear Reader,
That is a good point too. Usually, one person can't use 3000 minutes a month as that is about 100 minutes everyday. However, given that a good amount of our readers are in countries abroad, it is possible that the minutes are distributed among all the family members and thus 3000 minutes a month might not be more than they can use. Moreover, we just do not appreciate any such restriction, especially when the service is advertised as unlimited calling plans.
